Create your package
In the ColisBF app, enter the package and recipient details, describe the contents and add photos. The system immediately assigns a unique package number, for example BF-XA9FYK.
Drop off your package
Bring the physical package to a ColisBF agent in the United States. The agent looks up or scans the package number and officially records it as received.
Package processing
The agent verifies the package and records the applicable shipping fee. The status and fee become visible to the sender in the app.
Consolidation into a shipping box
Individual packages are grouped into a large shipping box, which gets its own number, for example BOX-K7M2QP. Your package keeps its original number.
Shipment to Burkina Faso
The box travels from the United States to Burkina Faso. The system knows which box holds which package, so your individual package stays trackable throughout.
Arrival in Burkina Faso
On arrival, the agent records the box. The system identifies every package inside and updates them automatically, in a single operation.
Recipient notification
When the package is ready, the recipient is told they can collect it, along with the relevant pickup location.
Pickup
The recipient goes to the pickup location. The agent verifies the package and the recipient using a pickup code, then marks the package picked up. The sender sees the final status.

Will my package number change once it is placed in a shipping box?
No. Your package keeps its original number for the whole journey, even once it is inside a shipping box. The system simply records which box it is in.
How will I know when my package has arrived?
The status updates on this site as soon as the agent records the box's arrival in Burkina Faso. Automatic WhatsApp and SMS notifications are built but not yet switched on; until then, our agents inform recipients directly.
How does the recipient know when to collect the package?
The package moves to "ready for pickup" and the pickup location appears in the online tracking. The recipient is also informed by the local agent.
Can I see my previous shipments?
Yes. The app keeps the history of every package you have created, with its status and fees.
What happens at pickup?
The agent in Burkina Faso verifies the recipient using a single-use pickup code, then records the handover. The package moves to "picked up" and the sender sees that final status in the app and in online tracking.
Does tracking expose my personal data?
